Abstract: |
The advantages and disadvantages of care trusts as a way for primary care trusts and local authorities to deliver more integrated health and adult social care services are discussed. The costs of implementing structural change and other ways of providing integrated services are briefly mentioned. Short case studies which describe the experience of Bexley Care Trust and Torbay Care Trust are included. |
